I'm using interserver.net for the first time. I saw some decent recommendations for them. I have been reaching out to their support and I am discovering that they don't appear to provide any kind of VPN protection. They responded to me saying that they have the Windows firewall turned on. I responded back asking why anyone would put a server online without some kind of VPN tunnel to access it. They provided me... Source: 10 months ago
I purchased a storage account from interserver.net that supports FTP. Am I missing something where I think putting this account information to my reolink NVR will work? Source: 11 months ago
I've tried 4. Currently missing attestations at interserver.net. Source: over 1 year ago
AWS is too expensive. I tried netcup who seemed cheapest but they want payment via paypal or bank transfer. Currently trying interserver.net. Good luck. Source: over 1 year ago
Ok, after looking at the comments, it’s renting. If you wanna get better bang for your buck, and you’re willing to mess with a terminal window, you could use something like interserver.net which costs slightly less, and is potentially faster (it really depends on the CPU in the server‘s plan). Don't use wordpress.com. Use wordpress.org. Buy a hosting package from siteground.com and you'll have a super easy one-click install without having to pay for a bunch of WordPress features that are actually free. Source: 11 months ago

Please. Red flag #5: Weird English. "In the event of non-payment or ignorance." Red flag #6: The link... Source: over 1 year ago
It is fine to use a private email in this way. However, you might want to get your own domain just because it looks more professional. I have a domain set up through siteground.com that's my first initial and last name (e.g., bsmith for Bob Smith—obviously anonymized). My email address is [me@bsmith.com](mailto:me@bsmith.com). It's clean, clear, short, and I retain control over the domain and server. Source: over 1 year ago
