  • Limited Monetization Options
While the platform provides great promotional tools, it does not directly offer monetization options, which means developers have to look elsewhere for funding and revenue generation.
  • Potential for Oversaturation
With a large quantity of content available, there is a risk of oversaturation, where projects might not receive the desired level of attention or engagement due to the sheer number of games published.
  • Dependency on External Platforms
Developers still need to rely on external platforms or storefronts for actual distribution and sales, as Indie DB does not provide a marketplace to sell games directly.

The depth and complexity of the game can lead to long play sessions, which may not be suitable for players with limited time.
  • Learning Curve
New players might find the game challenging to understand initially, requiring time and effort to learn the mechanics and possibilities.
  • Resource Intensive
Running Minecraft, especially with mods and custom content, can be demanding on computer hardware, potentially leading to performance issues on less powerful systems.
  • Online Safety
Playing on public servers or engaging with the community can expose players, especially younger ones, to inappropriate content or interactions without proper supervision.

10 best farming games and simulators for Android
Minecraft may be a bit of a reach for us. You can do basically whatever you want in Minecraft. You can mine, you can craft, and you can do stuff like build, farm, fish, and raise animals. In fact, early in the game survival mode requires at least some partial farming skills because you do need food to live. You can raise chickens for their eggs, plant various types of crops,...
Games Like Rust: 16 Similar Multiplayer Survival Game Alternatives
Not all Rust players will like Ark: Survival Evolved — its feel is more “Minecraft” than “DayZ”, and although there’s a multiplayer mode, hardcore Rust fans might find the lack of competition a little unsatisfying. Others will enjoy the more relaxed play style, and Ark: Survival Evolved still has plenty of threats (not least your own stamina and hunger).

Roblox hits 100 million monthly active users
Roblox is big. Bigger than Minecraft big. The massively multiple online title has been around since 2006, but the game has been achieving a crazy amount of momentum of late. On Friday, it announced via blog post that it’s grown past 100 million monthly active users, pushing past Minecraft, which is currently in the (still impressive) low-90s.

I have a server (hosted by Logic) which we tried to upgrade to 1.20.50 tonight. However, when the server starts it shows that it's loading 1.20.40. Logic has tried to help me, and I've tried downloading the file directly from Minecraft.net, same results. I've blown away every single file from the server and tried fresh, it just keeps coming up as 1.20.40 and when my upgraded client tries to connect I get an error... Source: over 1 year ago
