Some good tips for you, though: unplug your laptop when it's asleep/shut down. This will help increase the lifespan of your battery. Look up a few tutorials on how to disassemble it. Might be able to find some on ifixit. I recommend a tilting laptop mount to help increase airflow and improve wrist ergonomics. I know lainchan.org's tech board is into that kind of thing, you can search for their web-ring thread somewhere there. I like creating JS-less sites, and it's fun because HTML and CSS have a lot more functionality than one would imagine.
