Hyvor Blogs Reviews

  1. I was looking for an headless CMS to self-host. After trying Ghost - too much clutter - and WordPress - still painfully slow, I landed on Hyvor.

There's no self-hosting option, but the UI is clutter-free and fast. They have an API and integration guides for loading posts from another website, my use case. First-class supports for multi-language too!

    🏁 Competitors: Ghost
    👍 Pros:    Simple ui|Rest api|Fast ui|Integration guides
    👎 Cons:    Proprietary

  • Show HN: I am launching the beta of Bernard, a link checker for your website
This is cool! I recently worked on integrating something like this into our blogging platform [0] to help bloggers monitor their links automatically. One main problem is with popular websites which have pretty aggressive bot prevention mechanisms. They often return 5xx codes even in HEAD requests. How do you combat that? Same for me, too. I honestly love https://mataroa.blog it ended my paralysis for searching a blog platform, and every page is bog standard HTML. It accepts Markdown, plus it has its own anonymous analytics, so it's nice. - Source: Hacker News / 5 months ago
