I've also used ZK notes, which is kind of like building your own wiki. I find it's really helpful for world-building. You can do it in Scrivener using Wiki Links (see page 209 in the Scrivener Manual) I've also used a cool free web app called HyperNotes for building a ZK Wiki. Source: over 2 years ago
