I’ve been using Huntr for years now to do just this. It’s changed a few times since I’ve started it so it’s now a paid for product but I think it’s worth it imo, especially with the extension to scrape the job descriptions. You can keep notes in it as well so if you write a cover letter or custom note somewhere you can save it for reference in case anyone ever brings it up. Source: 10 months ago

The problem is that they tend not to be very good in distinguishing shapes on a photo. But there is something that can be done to improve on that. All that is needed is image editing software that supports converting an image to greyscale and can edit the brightness and contrast of an image.
