Homeadvisor.com will let you describe the work you want to do and then contractors will respond. I've had decent luck with this for the smaller, specific jobs. Just be prepared, they often start calling you IMMEDIATELY, so don't submit the request unless you're prepared to spend the next 30 minutes or so talking to the contracting companies. Porch.com, homeadvisor.com, and sites like that may help. I agree with the earlier comment on using a handyman vs a larger firm. It's interesting at times to see how small things you might not anticipate can surface when you do even small jobs at home. Source: over 1 year ago

I just wanted to say, for anyone reading this far: this is the sort of thing you can hire a programmer to whip up for you to carry around on your phone. u/dark_rug just up and did it, but for anybody else finding themselves with a little spreadsheet to do calculations that they want to work on their phone or in the browser, you can go to a service like upwork.com and put out a request for bids from contract...
