Agreed, but you are going to get feedback from a lot of folks who apparently really like it. The native navigation comes from a system called HERE and they have deals with a large number of vehicle OEMs. For my situation the native maps are abysmal. I recently got the Wavlink AX3000 mesh router to replace my service provided router so that I can set my own preferred DNS server (running Pihole on my Rasberry Pi). Since hooking up this router I've been seeing anywhere from 6-12 DNS queries per minute to bing.com of A and AAAA type.
