  If you buy insurance from the health insurance's website directly, e.g., Blue Cross it any different from buying from the "insurance marketplace" which is https://www.healthcare.gov(which in each state, it might have its own site or ) When people say "buying insurance from the marketplace" does it refer to Obama care with health insurance premium tax credits only? • Any tips on family healthcare options that dont suck?

  Looked at healthcare.com but they want me to call due to 3 kids, all who pay taxes so no plans show up online. Looking at a contractor gig and their health insurance is $1600/mth and it's not even that great. Also they dont offer PTO or Holiday pay, so hourly rate when I work is what it get.   On the other hand, if you use Weather.com's data they report it's only a perfectly fine "27" which is "good"-- and iqair.com says it's also fine. Ditto airnow.gov-- nothing unusual to report. Source: over 1 year ago

• Not so purple anymore: Just a heads' up, Air is Hazardous (301 and up per purpleair chart), for everyone in the area right now.

  The best site for air quality I've found so far is iqair.com. They seem to update fast and are the most accurate I've seen, including the ugly numbers in the 300s, in line with it looking particularly bad outside, as of this writing. They also show wind currents, and you can click on the side options to show or remove particular map-markers. Source: almost 3 years ago
