Hawker Reviews

  1. hawker.social looks stunning

I like how it combines features from other social media platforms and even other features that are not built into other social media platforms

πŸ‘ Pros:    I can run subscriptions on my community channels
  2. Great find

Recently I bumped into this social platform, created my community and never looked back. Hawker allows one to create a community with multiple channels and monetize if you need. This platform is quite new so you can get all the benefits joining at the beginning.

🏁 Competitors: Reddit, Slack, Facebook Groups, Discord
    πŸ‘ Pros:    Multiple monetization|Multiple channels|Less popular|Blogging tool|Private communities
    πŸ‘Ž Cons:    Limited features|Less popular
  3. Hawker doesn't censor your content and the platform promotes free speech!

Ever since I started using Hawker to connect with my community, I've been having a blast! It's a lot like Reddit, where you can create communities based on your interests. Plus, you can make public and private channels just like on Slack. It's awesome because you can keep different discussions separate and focused on specific topics.

    • Hawker makes it super easy to create communities centered around things you love. Whether it's about technology, hobbies, or anything else you're passionate about, you can set up your own community in a snap. You can even customize it with a cool name, description, and logo, making it feel inviting.

    • What's really neat about Hawker is that you can create both public and private channels within your communities. Public channels are great for open discussions and collaboration, while private channels give you a safe and private space for sensitive or exclusive conversations. You have the freedom to choose how you want to interact with others. You can also monetize your private channels by charging members a one-time or a monthly access fee.

🏁 Competitors: Reddit, Discord, Slack, Facebook Groups
πŸ‘ Pros:    Easy to use|Easy user interface|Simple to setup
    πŸ‘Ž Cons:    None so far

Asana Reviews

  1. Good, but not the best.

While Asana is a robust task management and project planning tool, in my experience, it falls slightly short when compared to Trello, particularly in terms of user-friendliness and simplicity. Asana offers a variety of features such as multiple project views (list, board, timeline, calendar), custom fields, and reporting tools, which can be highly beneficial for complex project management. However, I found that the learning curve can be steep, especially for team members not familiar with this type of software. The interface, while feature-rich, can feel a bit cluttered and overwhelming for new users. On the other hand, Trello shines in its simplicity and straightforward design. The visual card and board system is intuitive and easy to grasp, making it a more accessible tool for team members of varying tech proficiency levels. Additionally, Trello's user interface is cleaner and more streamlined, which contributes to an overall more enjoyable user experience.

In terms of collaboration, both tools provide good collaborative features like commenting, tagging, and task assignment. However, I appreciate Trello's flexibility with its Power-Ups, allowing integration with a wide array of apps which enhances its functionality. In conclusion, while Asana is a powerful tool with extensive features, I prefer Trello for its ease of use, simplicity, and intuitive design. However, I do see the value of Asana for larger teams or more complex projects.

  2. A Solid Project Management Tool, but Not the Best on the Market

Asana is a popular project management tool that has a lot to offer. It is fast and versatile, making it easy for individuals and teams to collaborate and get things done. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and there are plenty of features to help you organise and track your projects.

However, while Asana is a good tool, it is not the best on the market. One of its main weaknesses is its lack of advanced reporting and analysis capabilities. It can be challenging to get a comprehensive view of your projects and how they are progressing, especially if you have a large number of them.

Another issue is the cost. Asana can be expensive for teams with a lot of members, especially when compared to other project management tools that offer similar features at a lower price point.

    🏁 Competitors: Trello
    πŸ‘ Pros:    Fast|Clean ui|Excellent features
    πŸ‘Ž Cons:    No reporting|Expensive
  3. Coordinate and manage in teams the tasks and the circulation of work of a plan.

Asana is a very representative app for the work environment I'm a part of with team members and users it's stellar for: β€’ To manage it on the web and portable devices β€’ With option and manageability on the web β€’ To set up projects and invite team members. β€’ The projects have a roadmap to know the displacement of each activity. β€’ Tasks can contain subtasks to keep track of work β€’ Allows granting tasks, define expiration periods. β€’ Effective and useful for adding files, making comments, and tags.

    🏁 Competitors: Trello, Wrike
πŸ‘ Pros:    Asana proceeds effectively by promoting and supporting the work plan process for each project in terms of: β€’ to arrange and establish the work to be executed for a given project. β€’ to distribute and share among the members the tasks of a project. β€’ flexible to locate and work those minimum activities of a task. β€’ to fix and assign who will be in charge of the tasks. β€’ it is consistent to fix the structured tasks and visualize the phases and their movements. β€’ to set dates for a project from start to finish. β€’ with the option to handle related tasks that in one way or another are dependent on each other.
πŸ‘Ž Cons:    Asana, is substantial to give continuity to the acquired commitments, it gathers everything necessary for the satisfactory completion of the work plans, being so it is a fantastic application as long as i have no adverse consequences while i am using it.
