  • SVG path animation in Nextjs using GSAP
Unlike Next.js, I don't assume you know GSAP. So, GSAP which stands for GreenSock Animation Platform is another javascript framework (yes, there are millions of javascript frameworks) that is used to animate elements on websites. Open their website (gsap.com) to explore the type of animations you can make using GSAP. - Source: dev.to / 2 days ago

  • An Afternoon with SVGs | Frontend Challenge Entry
I've been looking for a small project to do that would let me play with Greensock (GSAP), specifically a bit with some SVG files I generated with Corel Vector. When I saw the frontend challenge and had an afternoon at work with downtime between a few projects, I knew it'd be a great opportunity to explore a bit! - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago

  • Were gifs from giphy removed? I can't seem to find them in the settings of 2 subs I've checked so far.
'Giphy' is still in operation, which was (AFAIK) the site that Reddit used. Source: 11 months ago
  • What is the estimated cost, to run a site like gfycat?
I can't help you with costs but I read that MP4s are much smaller than GIFs so you could consider converting any format to MP4 before it's hosted. There's a Linux version of FFMPEG that could be hosted online that could do the conversion. Also, certain sites like Reddit only accept GIF's created on giphy.com, if there's a way around this, I'd love to know. Source: 11 months ago
  • Daily Discussion Thread | June 23, 2023
Anyone know how to get a gif to show up here? I made one, then uploaded it to giphy.com but I'm not seeing it. I though tit would automatically show up here once in giphy, but I suppose not. Source: 11 months ago
