It's important to remember who/ what wrote the article. I use https://news.google.com to keep everything relevant and that really helps me recognize organizations and authors. By heavily using the "do/ don't show me more posts like this" button along with the "For You" page, it's easily become my favorite way find news. It's a very useful tool to have. - Source: Reddit / 12 days ago

(My guess is that eventually reddit will go full on Digg.com mode and become "curated content" with no comments allowed and RES will be unnecessary (and the site as we know it will be dead) And yes, https://digg.com/ still exists as a sad shell of it's old self.). - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
Https://digg.com/ ... Well I guess Reddit is the true bastion of free speech! - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
It was the Polish equivalent of the - nor largely defunct - digg.com ("wykop" is a loose translation of "digg"). - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
This fiasco is reminding me of the Digg implosion, and yeah, digg.com still exists, but it's no digg. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
Anyone remember plastic.com? I bounced between digg.com and plastic.com before reddit. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
