I’d personally recommend Godot, because it’s FOSS, has a really nice way of doing things (in my opinion), and a language that’s similar enough to Go that when I was first learning Go I’d frequently use terms from GDScript! All in all it's taken me three years to build this haha. But I actually built the tool itself that others can use to build galleries like this.
