goATDee VS Sling TV

I lived most of my life in Oakland, but am now in Austin, where the Raiders are seldom on TV. Last year I was able to watch all of the Raiders games using Locast, but they were legislated out of existence two days ago. I don't want to go to a bar to watch the game. Other than goatd.me, which was my only recourse before Locast, are there any other ways to watch the games on my home television? Source: over 2 years ago

Have been digging a little more in the little time I have spare at the moment - Seems DNS blacklists/redirect are not fully successfull. Even though I have redirected the domains sling.com, slingbox.com and slingmedia.com to a local "HoneyPod" on my lan it still appears that the slingbox is trying to talk to 67.148.153.136 and 67.148.153.250 on the internet which it can not get to since I shutdown all internet... Ah, got it...there is a "MANAGE ACCOUNT" link on the bottom in the PC app but all it does is launch sling.com in whatever the default browser is so that is not going to be much help...maybe something for them to add in the future. Source: over 1 year ago

Upon reboot, it will reach a screen that says "Slingbox updated" which obviously is not possible since I blocked sling.com and there was no way an update could be applied in the amount of time the reboot took. Source: over 1 year ago
