  I'm really digging gather.town for this. Our team has it set up & the ad-hoc "meetings" have gone up tremendously. You can choose to engage or not but it seems to be way more informal than slack for a quick sync, which is a gigantic strength imo. Source: about 1 year ago

  As for music, I use a spotify premium account to do a remote listening session. It's been my best solution so far. A friend of mine uses watch2gether.com, its a great free option to integrate music and video streaming. It's not ideal for a whole host of reasons, if you ask me, but it IS free and simple. • Watch anything and everything with your friends and family, it works like Rabb.it it uses a virtual browser with 1gb internet speed, might upgrade it to 10gb but the website is on beta stage atm, I hope you guys like it.
