u/JTostitos is right though that Game Center was designed for this although it has gone out of style with many game studios lately. But it all depends on how the game is designed... Sometimes a server just doesn't show up in the server list. You can try finding the server in just-wiped.net or battlemetrics.com there is a connect button in these websites that connects you to the server through your steam account.
