The server browser on scum is a mess so battlemetrics.com is the best way to browse servers just sort by population or search for hardcore, vanilla, 10x loot whatever youre looking for. Source: about 1 year ago
Official is littered with cheaters in fact the publisher owner of snail games is known to own a cheater tribe called tea. Go tobattlemetrics.com and search u.s. Servers I recommend a fresh wipe of your server type. Search things like 1/ to get a cluster that just wiped. Source: over 1 year ago
Some handy websites are rustlabs.com and battlemetrics.com. Rustlabs acts as a wiki of sorts for the game and battlemetrics is a better way of finding and joining servers. Source: over 1 year ago
Sometimes a server just doesn't show up in the server list. You can try finding the server in just-wiped.net or battlemetrics.com there is a connect button in these websites that connects you to the server through your steam account. You could also find out if the server is really down from player count in the websites I mentioned. Source: over 1 year ago
I've had the same issue recently. I've resorted to browsing servers on battlemetrics.com, getting the IP address/port, and then using the Direct Connect feature in the default server browser. Source: over 1 year ago

Improving the in game server browsing will be huge. When MP first released, the crappy server browser legit turned me off from playing PZ for a bit. It was only when I found out about battlemetrics.com that I could find servers that I could somewhat filter out. Being a customizable sandbox game, we need to be able to see each individual settings the server has running before joining. Settings like multi-hit,... Source: over 1 year ago
Might be worth it to pay for a server admin software (battlemetrics.com is great) and then you can have it take care of it for you. You can ban someone and their IP address and also some other things you can tag for bans. Source: almost 2 years ago
I have a tool for this, but it's not publicly available currently. The next best thing is searching battlemetrics.com for trio and sorting by rank (confirm trio is in the server name, because battlemetrics seems to also search the server descriptions). Source: almost 2 years ago
Try to find some on battlemetrics.com your best bet! Source: almost 2 years ago
Very likely that they are "online" laying in their coffins to help the server appear more active than it is. People will do this to help keep their server showing up further on the list for of servers when searching by players online and to try to Jimmy their battlemetrics.com ranking higher. When you try to join you get the message "Server Banned. Please try another server". I went to battlemetrics.com and confirmed that there are multiple official servers that have went down, even some community ones too. Source: about 2 years ago
My husband and I are having the same issue on several server today. We have tried to client.connect and it says timeout, even when we try from battlemetrics.com, we get the same message. We have tried verifying the files and still nothing. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Source: over 2 years ago
Thirdly, and I found this helped me out alot, look up the server you've chosen to play on in battlemetrics.com. This website will show you every detail you'd need to know about the server you want to play on, specifically the spawn locations. If you join a server as it wipes and run across the map to the opposite side of the map from where spawn is, then you're much less likely to have a lot of action happening... Source: over 2 years ago
Battlemetrics.com shows you the stats like population history of each server. You can see there how quickly it died last wipe and draw your conclusions from there. ^^. Source: over 2 years ago
The devs have taken extra steps to make it much harder to find the IP addresses of Official servers, as it was making it much easier for DDOSers to bulk attack all of the servers even when the dev's have changed providers, as the IP addresses were being publicly shared on sites like battlemetrics.com.
