  Heh, I've been there as well a decade ago when switching from windows to macos. Far manager was also the first program I'd also install on any box.   It seems like power cycling the modem works sometimes but the problem returns and cylcing the power now is not resolving the issue. I have tried deleting cookies for xfinity.com.
