I did for rudimentary tasks and defaulted to 45mins focus / 15mins break time blocks. For your examples given, I use Hemingway Editor to cut down on my adverbs. Adverbs aren't bad, but I want a stronger punch with my writing and cutting down on adverbs helps (for me). It forces me to expand on the action. Passive voice is one I need to work on, personally. Cut them down, along with adverbs, I think, helps your writing a great deal. Source: 10 months ago
