For gear, I didn't use any pedals or even an amp to record this. I bought an audio interface (you can get a pretty good one used for like $80) and plugged my guitar into my laptop. I used a free ampsim I found online and recorded it. I then sent it to a producer who cleaned up the tone and mixed it in with all the other instruments (on this specific track I had real people I found online play all the instruments...
