I don’t use Windows to search at all. I actually only found out today about the big search menu that comes out of it when someone here asked for a screenshot of it. If you have troubles like this in the future, I recommend you just install "everything" by voidtools ( https://voidtools.com/ ), its an indexed search for windows. Type in parts of the name of the file you're looking for as in "affinity 2 .exe" and it shows you all relevant files in your computer and you can instantly interact with them as you would with a regular explorer window (make shortcuts etc.). - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
