Secure remote access can be facilitated through encrypted tunnels. VPNs, SSH, Cloudflare tunnel, SOCKS, etc. Can all be secure ways of remotely accessing network resources. What you use will vary, depending upon the type of access you require and/or prefer. Take a look at Tonido (tonido.com). Install the tonido software on your computer, set up an account for user ID and password and then you can specify which drives and folders are accessible.
