  • 27yo, newly gluten free and not taking it well and need advice
Also the app Fig ( Link to website here ) is decent but it is a subscription. It can help you find some prepackaged foods that fit your dietary needs. Idk how it is outside the US though, so check it out if you want to. Source: 11 months ago
  • Sorbitol doesn’t belong in my medicine. This trend has to stop
But now the term has become useless. People with several or multiple allergies have to do a ton more research to find out if it’s safe for them. Shoutout to this app though for those with a lot of allergies. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Low Histamine Recipes Introduction And Links
Foodisgood.com-includes an app called Fig to help select low histamine foods. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Low Histamine Diet is scaring me!
A resource I found e trememly helpful is the site (and now they have an app) Food is Good (FIG), you can set your dietary needs and then pick a store and they'd show you products that meet those needs. Makes it somewhat easier. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Hives now for over a week
All this to say, try eating low histamine foods for the next few days to a week, maybe oregano tea (poleo plant) and be mindful that antihistamines don't stop the production of histamine, they just block it from spreading so once you stop you may get a rush of it. I'd go back to the doc and request more testing, at least that way you can cross things out AND are working with a doctor to figure things out. Source: almost 2 years ago
