They don't need more data, your users don't want to see cookie banners and most of you really don't need 99% of the data that you can filter through... I can't recommend Fathom (https://usefathom.com) enough. They have a huge focus on privacy-first tracking. I just discovered diff-so-fancy, and very nice it is too. I immediately added it to my standard git config, which is semi-automatically installed on every machine I use.
