The university of Houston, Chicago public library, Encyclopedia Britannica, and encyclopedia.com all say the maximum amount of people in gulags was during stalin's reign and was 2.5 million people. Wikipedia has a number on the total amount of people passed through the gulags, but I think that number should not be used, as it sums up EVERY SINGLE imprisonment ever, even if they were released. My recommendation is to sign up for codecademy.com and create an account to learn SQL over there. Also use sqlbolt.com because both of these websites provide detailed interactive SQL tutorials that should help you write it.
