  Overbuilt and OTT? Sure... But this works fantastically for my use case. I have current backups of everything except my media library because of the size of it; my VM's are all backed up to my Synology nightly using Backy2, my application data gets dumped to that same Synology NAS nightly as well, and all of that also gets synced to Glacier deep storage once a week using Duplicity.   I'm just testing idrive service and maybe I'm missing the point but it looks that anyone who gain access to idrive.com is able to get any file from any local drive, I mean any file.   If you're really just wanting to store the files, then iDrive is pretty hard to beat on pricing - they've been running a 90% off promo on their 5 TB plan for a while now to where you can get a whole year of it for only $7.95 (total, not per month). • iDrive doesn't delete remote backup files?

  Is there a way to set it up so that I can sync my folder to reflect all local changes? I only need it one way. I don't access these files from other devices, nor do I go to idrive.com directly, so I will never need server->local syncing. Source: over 1 year ago
