Did you try logging into dropbox.com and checking there? Often the files remain online even if they are removed locallY. You have to log in with the same account you deleted Locally. Source: 12 months ago
Dropbox: You absolutely NEED backups. Ideally, both physical and cloud backups, because if you only have one backup, you're not backed up. I can't even begin to tell you how many writers have lost days, weeks, or even entire novels worth of work because they failed to back up their work, then had their computer break or had some weird software snafu. There may be better places, since I've just stuck to the same one for years now (and don't need them often enough to look into alternatives), but I usually use either subscene or opensubtitles. There are also programs that can automate it like bazarr, but it requires you to also use Sonarr/Radarr. Source: 11 months ago

Jellyfin doesn’t download movies. I think you want Radarr for that. Unless you mean that your Jellyfin server is somewhere else other than the cabin and you’re connecting to Jellyfin remotely from your cabin, in which case yeah you’d probably have to wait for it to download/buffer which could take a while.
