The huge problem might be the inability of most people on here to realize that theirs is not the only legitimate perspective but I guess you could be right. I needed make a question regarding the chia GUI installation on a raspberry pi 4. Sometimes the sync gets stuck for me so I go ahead and do a clean install, and use the mainnet db checkpoint from chia.net. Source: 9 months ago

They host a snapshot of the db on chia.net so you no longer have to do a full sync so you could just grab the v2 and manually update the rest of the way which shouldn't take too long (not sure on the exact time I surmise less than a day or 2- its a long time since I've had to do a resync).
