  Distill.io offers every 5 seconds but it seems I need an upgraded account to be able to select this interval using the Device "Cloud-Distill's Severs (this device)". So it seems I'd need to always be on my computer in order for it to run. So I selected "Any Local Device (beta)" for device. Description for "Device" = Select device that this monitor runs on.   Third - the 1099. If you have a consulting contract, then you don't have to pay taxes for the individual. The consulting contract will clearly state that they are responsible for all taxes, including self-employment taxes. I still use a payroll service (gusto.com in my case, but whatever floats your boat) to pay contractors, that way someone else is taking care of the 1099s and such, which can be a pain in the ass.
