  • Maybe Alan Moore was Right
This is simply not true. In the 40's and 50's, when Kirby was starting out, comics were read primarily, by which I mean about 95%+, by adults. They may have been pretty sexist at the time, but they sure were INCREDIBLY racist. Go checkout https://digitalcomicmuseum.com/. Kirby and Ditko start showing up in the 50's. Alot of Kirby's WW2 work is still copywrited, but the smaller labels are there. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Any advice for making of four page horror comic?
There are also a TON of short horror comics available in the public domain, one writing exercise I found really helpful was adapting those stories into modern comics. Source: over 1 year ago

Go onto https://digital.darkhorse.com/. You'll have to make an account with them, but then you'll have access to digital versions of the free comics. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Buying comics
Https://digital.darkhorse.com/ has sales often. Looks like the rights for the Dark Horse comics have been passed to Marvel. Marvel has a digital subscription service, and also sell individual digital issues. Source: over 1 year ago
