Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth implementing Elasticsearch until you have hundreds of thousands of records or you need something search engine specific (i.e. facets). The full-text search in Postgres is really fast these days. One really cool feature that KOReader has for self-hosters though is support for wallabag, which is a "read it later" service that you can self-host. Then you can access your saved articles through its web UI, Android app or KOReader. I highly recommend checking it out if you like reading articles.
