  Interesting approach. I can’t stand Slack, so not for me. I’ve used Piler to solve this in a production environment generating hundreds of cron emails a day, but saving to a SQLite database or similar the way dbmail does would also be an option. Source: about 1 year ago

Otherwise, please share your experience with hosting your own mail service.
