I still can't believe what horse shit Data Loader is. They even own a much better product with dataloader.io but won't make it free even though data movement is integral to a useful database. Source: about 1 year ago
Check to make sure you're actually on the once a month limit. Our org we can do weekly data exports. You can also export your objects by reports, dataloader.io (with limits), and some other tools. Depending on the data's final destination, it may be worth keeping some Salesforce licenses and seeing if you can transfer/sync data via APIs or middleware tools rather than do it manually. I am considering Hex, Deepnote, and possibly Databricks. Does anyone have any experience using the first 2 (i have worked with Databricks in the past) and have thoughts they can share? The company isn't doing any fancy data science so far so I mostly want it for deep product analytics which I can turn into reports that are easily shareable across the org.
