Managing Salesforce data in Excel can be a game-changer for your productivity. In this section, we’ll compare some popular tools that make this task easier, including XL-Connector 365, Data Import Wizard, Data Loader, and dataloader.io. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Love https://dataloader.io/ Free for up to 10k records a month! Source: almost 2 years ago
I still can't believe what horse shit Data Loader is. They even own a much better product with dataloader.io but won't make it free even though data movement is integral to a useful database. Source: about 2 years ago
Check to make sure you're actually on the once a month limit. Our org we can do weekly data exports. You can also export your objects by reports, dataloader.io (with limits), and some other tools. Depending on the data's final destination, it may be worth keeping some Salesforce licenses and seeing if you can transfer/sync data via APIs or middleware tools rather than do it manually. Talk to the vendor of whatever... Source: over 2 years ago
Does either dataloader.io or data import wizard allow for custom logic? I'm matching the contact by full name and crd#. The logic I want to introduce is where contact's field: "platform" = envestnet. Or should I be thinking about creating a flow that will handle the logic to match the contacts from my spreadsheet? Source: over 2 years ago
I think dataloader.io and def dataimporter.io offer name match. Up to 10k (or 20k for the latter) records/mo free. Source: over 2 years ago
Dataloader.io --- free mulesoft program. Can schedule from Gdrive and other cloud options. Source: almost 3 years ago
Can anyone recommend tools for exporting Files (Content Documents) related to specific objects? I need the ability to export actual files (JPEGs, PDFs, Docs, etc.), along with relationship information (which record those files are related to). They need to be in this format so that they could be imported into another system. I was able to do a similar export with Attachments using dataloader.io and Skyvia, but... Source: almost 3 years ago
Dataloader.io is a better interface for ETL and is free for less than 10,000 loads a month. XL-Connector by www.xappex.com is the best! It is $299 per year but I find it invaluable. Source: about 3 years ago
Is dataloader.io also worth to consider? Source: about 3 years ago
Another option is exporting the data using dataloader (you will need api permissions to connect to your Org) to extract the data using SOQL queries. Using dataloader you can also import data from a CSV file back into Salesforce. Source: about 3 years ago
Data Loader should not have a limit (unless your org has a low number of api-calls per day) but dataloader.io does. Is that what you are referring to? Source: about 3 years ago
I like https://getjetstream.app/. It's like a combination of workbench and dataloader.io. You can deploy directly from the jetstream or you can create a change set in you org and use jetstream to put all of your changes into the change set. The UI for deployments is what I wish Change Sets would be like. Source: over 3 years ago
You can open a case with Salesforce and they will prevent the email change confirmation emails from being sent out when you mass-update emails. Otherwise, you don't necessarily have to update usernames right away if you don't want to, since email and usernames are not one and the same in Salesforce. You can use the Data Loader desktop application, dataloader.io, or workbench to update all of the usernames for your... Source: over 3 years ago
There are sites like dataloader.io that you can schedule tasks on as well and plenty of home brewed custom solutions so your setup isn't guaranteed to be that but odds are good. I'd try and find that file and fix. Source: over 3 years ago
Thanks I googled data loader. Are you referring to https://dataloader.io ? It’s a third party tool, right? Source: over 3 years ago
These were always painful... I loved how dataloader.io had that lookup functionality for IDs built in.... Saved a ton of time. Source: over 3 years ago
If you see something in there it means one of your users at some point connected to it as a third party service. (Like what you see in the Oauth details related list on the User Detail record). Users can adjust some personal settings related to Oauth, but more often than not it would be the Admin who installs it so that it can be configured more granularly. Like if a rogue user were to authenticate into... Source: over 3 years ago
I've always thought about building my own data loader to address some of these - I think there is genuinely a gap in the market for a better alternative to standard dataloader, and much lower cost to dataloader.io. Source: over 3 years ago
If I have to pay 1000s per year just for a marginal improvement over standard dataloader, or akin to dataloader.io - then no. Source: over 3 years ago
Check which way your sync is setup up. If HubSpot is the source of truth for contacts, than you can delete them in HubSpot and they should be deleted in Salesforce as well. You can also temporarily set the sync from HubSpot to Salesforce to make sure the contacts deleted in HubSpot are also deleted in Salesforce. You can also use dataloader.io to delete the contacts you deleted from HubSpot and delete them from... Source: over 3 years ago
