Mentioned that in my OC comment that people in different cities might be more lenient when leaving reviews. Unfortunately the only way to normalize is to get reviews for all restaurants in a city, comparing them, and then normalizing. We're developing databar.ai - a no-code UI to work with third party data sources and APIs. Our users so far have used our site to scrape Google Maps, access all sorts of financial/crypto datasets (we have I think ~300 crytpo/finance data sources right now), scrape news articles, and more. Alternatives were Rows and Airtable. Rows tends to be better at calculation, while Airtable tends to be better at storing and sorting data as a database. I was not aware of the open-source alternative called Baserow at the time. I did not choose any office suite like Google Docs or Microsoft 365 because they seemed… too old-fashioned, I guess, while I wanted glitter. ✨. Source: over 1 year ago
[Baserow], [APITable], [Grist], and [Rowy] are all open source Airtable alternatives which offer hosted SaaS versions that include API access, though it's a bit difficult to compare the API rate limits across all these products. Self-hosting an app like this would allow you to bypass API rate limits altogether, if you're open to it.
