  • We can do better failure detection in serverless applications
With the emergence of managed and distributed services, the monitoring landscape will have to go through a significant change to keep up with modern cloud applications. Currently, devops overhead is one of the biggest obstacles for companies looking to use serverless in production and rely on it for mission-critical applications. • Gas under $3/gallon in the metro. How about outstate?
You can find every price, everywhere in MN on gasbuddy.com. Start with the heat map and drill down from there. https://www.gasbuddy.com/gaspricemap?lat=45.2006351774094&lng=-93.978627209716&z=11. Source: 6 months ago

California State gas/diesel taxes are high - I think around $1.55/gallon. California has the most highways in the country. They need a lot of maintenance. The drought that we just came out of last winter cracked a lot of blacktop. In addition EV's and hybrids (which are huge in CA) use little or no gas so the revenue of the old 30MPG market is shrinking. Thus the "use tax". That said Texas is always cheaper due... • How can I calculate the $ amount of gas that it takes my vehicle to drive 87 km?

  • We’re screwed
Totally ridiculous situation. Temporary solution...check gasbuddy.com to see who has gas and...yes go in the middle of the night. I went at 3 am and the line was 15 minutes. It sucks but at least I put gas. Source: about 1 year ago
  • My husband lost his 80k a year job, wants me to quit school and I’m 2 semesters away from getting my degree. Should I quit?
Do not quit your school. You are in California so Denti-Cal exists. Dugoni (SF) accepts Denti-Cal and is 40% off. Do not buy a "new" car. Buy a "new to you" car. Used Toyotas can last, so can Hondas if you maintain them. If you are in SF Bay Area, get Second Harvest which will save on food. Save money on Gas with gasbuddy.com. Move to a cheaper area.
