  • What are the best course videos to pass the SSCP certification?
I found Mike Chapple to explain concepts well especially comparing to cybrary.it which I couldn't watch through much more. Linkedin learning isnt a bad platform however I have not taken this test yet. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Finding it hard to get started...
If you don't want to jump into books, I would start with Kelly Handerson's vid courses on cybrary.it. She's funny and explain topics well. It gave me a whole nine yard of all domains to cover. When I was done with that I jumped on the MindMap CISSP course by Destination Certification on Youtube. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago

  • Security + 601
I would like to study for the 601 exam but can't find a lot of material to study yet. It's mostly 501, does anyone know normally when does new study exam material come out? I know https://www.professormesser.com/ has 601 material but he says it's not complete and he did not really say when it would be complete. I have looked on cybrary.it but they only have the 501. Should I just study the 501? - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago

  • If you forgot alot of material for some basic classes, what are the safest options for tutoring someone cheaply in them where they won't be too mad/say too many bad things if you are bad at tutoring them?
To me. Study the materiel until you know it inside out. For instance, it has been years since I used C++ and I considered tutoring it for a while. Before I embarked upon teaching it I sat down for hours watching lynda.com videos, I studied some courses from MIT open courseware and I spent countless hours doing coding exercises. That way I was comfortable testing for it. - Source: Reddit / 4 days ago
  • What are the best courses and resources to get into/learn photography?
I used some video courses on lynda.com , which is now linkedin learning. It'll cost you $20/mo, although the first month is free and you can definitely go through the courses in a month. - Source: Reddit / 15 days ago
  • Suggestions for teaching Revit MEP to someone with an architecture background
For part 2, Linkedin Learning have free courses (lynda.com). The courses will not teach you the design but the drafting aspect. A lot of cheats and tricks would actually be learnt when you would design the system yourself. You could also check any local colleges providing REVIT MEP training. I did courses for AUTOCAD at a local college to self learn but learnt REVIT from scratch at work place. - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
  • Best place to learn ServiceNow?
I did not study web development in college, so I subscribed to lynda.com (now part of linkedin learning) and completed the courses in html, css, web development, javascript, etc. And still go back and watch some of the videos as refresher training. It is expensive but worth it to me as this helps me stay valuable as an employee. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • How to I get started in graphic design?
Your local library might provide free access to linkedin learning which used to be lynda.com. Tons of video tutorials that will teach you the basics of the programs. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
