Makes sense. criterionchannel.com is pretty hard to pass up at $10/month for thousands of titles (for me anyway). I do keep around some discs purely because they look better than streaming but I don't think streaming is the choke point there for the most part. As for music, I use a spotify premium account to do a remote listening session. It's been my best solution so far. A friend of mine uses watch2gether.com, its a great free option to integrate music and video streaming. It's not ideal for a whole host of reasons, if you ask me, but it IS free and simple.
