  If you open a web browser on a computer and go to criterionchannel.com and play a movie, you can rapidly tap the spacebar and it sort of steps frame by frame. It could take you a few tries, but you may be able to pause on the right frame doing this. Source: 6 months ago

• How / why do you collect physical media?

  Makes sense. criterionchannel.com is pretty hard to pass up at $10/month for thousands of titles (for me anyway). I do keep around some discs purely because they look better than streaming but I don't think streaming is the choke point there for the most part. If I was really into newer films / big productions I would probably upgrade everything to 4K and start collecting. Source: about 1 year ago

  w2g is currently bugged at the moment; until it's fixed, I recommend you use a dedicated website/extension like https://getmetastream.com/ or https://hyperbeam.com/ as it is far better because you can use them for any site.
