A tainted canvas is just the browser’s way of preventing you from accessing a canvas that contains cross-origin data. Tell the browser to expect CORS (crossOrigin="anonymous") and tell the server to allow it (Access-Control-Allow-Origin). If you can’t modify the server, relay the image through your backend or use a CORS proxy. Need something production-ready? Give Corsfix a spin, it’s free to start and only costs... - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Directly calling the Google Suggest endpoint from your frontend causes CORS issues. We use a CORS proxy to fetch the data. You'll need the user's query and the selected locale (language hl and country gl) parameters. The response is in XML format, so you'll need to parse it. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
The external API blocks your front end because it never supplies the Access‑Control‑Allow‑Origin header, and modern browsers strictly enforce that rule. Local extensions and request‑side header tweaks do not help real users. Depends what specifically you're looking for. I have a habit tracker and use notion2charts (https://notion2charts.com/) to create a line graph wherein x is the date and y is percentage of habits completed, but they also have bar, pie, and kpi charts. One downside is you can only have one free chart but for me it works just fine. Hope this helps! Source: over 2 years ago
