  • Using AI / ChatGPT For Real Estate Sales & Property Management
That isn't a chatbot, it's a blog post. The post lists "AI tools for real estate." Several of which by the way strain the definition of the term "AI tool." Zillow.com is "an AI-powered platform..." and Compass.com is "a comprehensive platform that uses AI..." By that logic, a handwritten note on papyrus is "AI-powered" if a bot chose the words. • Integrating a sign-up form from another site onto Squarespace
What is the database ? Which platform? We don't really care about compass.com as we won't be using that :) But there's surely a way to send the the newsletter stuff from Squarespace to the 'database' but you must first figure out what is that database. Which technology is it using? Which platform it's built on? Source: over 2 years ago
  • Integrating a sign-up form from another site onto Squarespace
Sorry for the confusion. The pop up that appears on the compass.com site feeds into a database that is used to generate a newsletter on that site. Is there a way I can use the newsletter signup on Squarespace to feed into that pop up? I am asking this because on mailchimp, there are ways to integrate a newsletter onto pretty much any site. Thanks!! Source: over 2 years ago
  • Listing Can’t Be Both Condo and Co-Op. Why Can’t App Filter Correctly? This Has Been Forever
You can on streeteasy or compass.com Zillow's algorithm does not support this feature outside of NYC. (and it's streeteasy in NYC). Source: over 2 years ago

  • What working with Tailwind CSS every day for 2 years looks like
Thanks for the vanilla-extract recommendation, I'll be using this! In my case, tailwind was useful for providing a handy set of vocabularies for simple and common stylings. But once customizations start to pile on, we're back into SCSS. Using 2 systems at once meant additionally gluing them with the postcss toolchain, so effectively we have 3 preprocessors running for every style refresh. • Clojure Single Codebase?
I spent some time doing this ~3 years ago, so I don't know about now, but to my knowledge it was the only language where you could really use one language for everything: no HTML (via hiccup), no CSS (via garden), clojure/clojurescript everywhere, and no shell (via babashka).
