Uhhh so on Comic Fury (the platform that hosts our comic's main site) there's the option to include a transcript, which is intended to just be so you can make your comic's dialogue searchable, if you enable the search function on your comic's site. Source: over 1 year ago
Heck yeah fan comic artist here! You'll find more of us on ComicFury. I wished there was more of us also on AO3, but it's formatting doesn't really make it easy lol. Source: over 1 year ago
However, ComicFury is a good site for posting mature comics, I've found. There's a very extensive tagging & filtering system, so the site isn't as worried about little kids coming across mature content accidentally. Source: almost 2 years ago
I dunno if this is what you're looking for- but a couple of months ago I found this site: Comicfury to host my comics because all the big ones favor scroll and I like page format. There are teenagers there on the forums but the average age of forum participants is 20-40 (with a lot of over/under) and it has a very active forum section. Source: almost 2 years ago

That's largely what Global Comix is. The confusing thing, though, is that it used to be clear that they had an unlimited membership program (similar to Comixology Unlimited) on their main page, which I thought was their main model for reading, but now I don't seem to see that unless I bring up a comic listing that requires payment to purchase. There's an option to join an unlimited reading program at that point,... Source: about 1 year ago
Hey! I recently learned about https://comicfury.com/, so I'm thinking about moving there. Also https://globalcomix.com/ seems to be way kinder to non-romance comics. Source: over 1 year ago
Global Comix is probably the closest alternative to Comixology Unlimited and is an entirely subscription model. It started picking up steam after the Comixology mess-up last year, but it still doesn't have many big name publishers involved (Top Cow, Heavy Metal, Humanoids, and Valiant are some of the more well known ones).
