CoinTracker mentions

  • coinbase is ..... ok. among other questions: why is there no obvious 'total return' display?
Even cointracker.io is trash. They are all trash. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • Wallet
I opened a Coinbase account last year from all the ads touting 'learn about crypto and earn free crypto'. I learned and earned a little under $80 in various shitcoin that I converted to either ETH or USDC (since one of the lessons dealt with earning interest w/ COMP in Wallet). For all the lessons they teach, they should warn that you're sinking into a trap if you keep collecting and converting to alt-coin, as... - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • Cointracker.io ocean csv import manual changes
Does anyone have a template of what the csv imports headers need to be changed for the oceanex csv downloads to match the needed headers for cointracker? I have thoughts but don't want to screw it up. I will delete if this doesn't belong here. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • How to Find Total Portfolio Performance
You can't that I know of - which is stupid. You have to use another app/website (cointracker.io, blockfolio, coin gecko etc...). - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
  • Could really use some advice on taxes.
I haven't used Taxbit but in some software you may need to mark incoming transactions as mining payments or income. I used bitcoin.tax in the past but this year the software has some bugs and it's more expensive so I'll probably use cointracker.io. It's on the pricier side given how many transactions I have but the UI is nice and I had a good year this year so I'll pay up. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

BearTax mentions

  • What's the best website to import transactions for tax purposes? I have crypto all over the place and I would really like a platform that just allows me to upload the csv and it handles the rest.
People were talking up bear.tax a few years ago but I found it wasn't quite fit for purpose for Australian exchanges but they let you do quite a lot for free. They've hopefully improved since then so could be worth a look. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
