CoinTracker mentions

  • coinbase is ..... ok. among other questions: why is there no obvious 'total return' display?
Even cointracker.io is trash. They are all trash. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Wallet
I opened a Coinbase account last year from all the ads touting 'learn about crypto and earn free crypto'. I learned and earned a little under $80 in various shitcoin that I converted to either ETH or USDC (since one of the lessons dealt with earning interest w/ COMP in Wallet). For all the lessons they teach, they should warn that you're sinking into a trap if you keep collecting and converting to alt-coin, as... - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Cointracker.io ocean csv import manual changes
Does anyone have a template of what the csv imports headers need to be changed for the oceanex csv downloads to match the needed headers for cointracker? I have thoughts but don't want to screw it up. I will delete if this doesn't belong here. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • How to Find Total Portfolio Performance
You can't that I know of - which is stupid. You have to use another app/website (cointracker.io, blockfolio, coin gecko etc...). - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
  • Could really use some advice on taxes.
I haven't used Taxbit but in some software you may need to mark incoming transactions as mining payments or income. I used bitcoin.tax in the past but this year the software has some bugs and it's more expensive so I'll probably use cointracker.io. It's on the pricier side given how many transactions I have but the UI is nice and I had a good year this year so I'll pay up. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago

CoinTracking mentions

  • Crypto transactions / Coinbase - no tax docs issued?
Use a service like cryptotrader.tax or cointracking.info or bitcoin.tax. You export information from coinbase and the service creates a realized gain/loss statement. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Free crypto tax service in Canada
To cointracking.info? Essentially bianance provides 3 files - deposits & withdrawals, which cointracking should import ok, and then your trades. The trades uses a unique format, and I had to split the coins out from the amounts and also split up sells and buys. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • How accurate do transaction records need to be for tax reporting ?
You can change your main account currency to GBP in account settings and then cointracking.info will calculate everything in GBP. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • CRO 5X incoming!
Be Safe. Hodl your Coins, don't keep trading around, keep your Data on cointracking.info , so you know how much money you currently earned. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • CRO 5X incoming!
Much easier to be one Binance for example and copy your .XMR Data to cointracking.info. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
