• How do you stay consistent in coding.

  If you’re struggling with Loops and Arrays i’d recommend doing exercises focused just on them. I went through the same thing and I went through the exercises on https://codingbat.com/java and got familiar with both of them. • Advice for incoming freshmen?

  I used this video series to get ahead of my intro to cs class. I’d recommend you find something similar to learn from. Just learn the basics, and you’ll be much more prepared for your college class. What’s really important is to do a lot of practice problems, and not just watch videos to learn the concepts.   In terms of structure, consider following a book like Python for Everybody or Automate the Boring Stuff With Python. One of the hard parts of learning a language like python on your own is knowing what you should learn and the order you should learn it in--resources like these books or online courses you can find on Coursera are great for helping with that.
