  • Completed CompTIA A+
First, I completed the Google IT Support Professional Certificate (coursera.org). It took about six months to work through the five courses in my spare time, and I spent another two months re-reading my notes and re-doing the assessments. - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
  • Just turned 22 and I have lost $700
    - Focus on your education, as education is the most reliable path to a good life. There are now many high quality, free educational resources, such as coursera.org, edx.org https://online.stanford.edu/free-courses. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago

It filled in some gaps... - Source: Reddit / 8 days ago
  • Looking at building a flat pack Bunnings house to on sell for profit. Any advice on where to study up or research that endeavour?
Or, do I need to study this further? Awhile ago there was a short course at AUT re project management of a property build, but this course is no longer going. On coursera.org they do have some free University courses in construction project management, etc, but these seem to be for large scale building projects relating to engineers, etc. - Source: Reddit / 19 days ago
  • Police officer wants to turn to coding/programming
For the technical skills, I suggest going to edx.org or coursera.org, there are some great computer science introductory courses in Python such as this one. This will give you some foundational knowledge and allow you to test the waters to see if you like it, and Python is a very marketable skill these days. Unless you want to get into data science, you can get by with high school math. Some of the best devs I... - Source: Reddit / 25 days ago
