I was using zalando, but their speed of keeping up compatibility with k8s version forced to od some research and I stomped upon https://cloudnative-pg.io/ and it checks all the boxes for my team - replicas management, continuous backup to S3, full and point in time recovery, etc. Source: about 1 year ago

Hello. I am currently using this docker-compose model from Zalando repository. It does not include PgBouncer in its architecture by default.
