Attemping to upgrade internal ssd by cloning internal ssd through 'restore' in DiskUtility. It's not letting me click the drop down in "restore from". Any help to move forward?
I would forget about using the Disk Utility Restore function and download a 30 trial copy of Carbon Copy Cloner which can clone your internal SSD to the new external one. Just be advised you will need to use the Legacy option to make the clone since the default CCC cloning function now is “Data Only”. You would be surprised how stupid Label employees can be, they even give stuff that is "confidential" to unpaid interns to post on their internal pages like box.com or their disco.ac pages.
