In the end it is your decision, I like using cameradecision.com to compare specs on different cameras, if there's too many: Oh, don't like that! points, than you're probably able to make a decision. For me the lack of stabilisation, no lens breathing correction, the smaller EVF and lower ISO mean that I would go A7IV but I heavily lean to photography anyway. Source: 10 months ago
The Sony has the larger sensor followed by the Lumix and then the iPhone. This affects depth of field (aka bokeh, or blurry backgrounds) and low light performance. The iPhone uses software tricks to enhance its performance but in no way does it actually do what the Sony and Lumix does. Thanks! Back in 2020 Nikon D5300 was one of the best you can get for that money. Mine D3500 is discontinued so you can't get it - although it was the cheapest DSLR at that time and value for money compared to canon. See, at some point you won't complain about your gear as there is always a workaround but in the starting you need a decent one to start with. Mmm, nope, I always go straight to pixlr.com (I type it directly into the search bar, because it's a short easy URL). I ended up in the Express version, and from other people's comments, like the OP's, it sounds like it wasn't just me.
