  • Just received this email. Never happened before. Seems to be legit. Am I right to be concerned?
6 – Set up a forwarding address service such as (duckduckgo.com forwarding service, simplelogin.io [ProtonMail's property], burnermail.io anondaddy.com). Source: about 1 year ago
  • Fleeing burnermail.io - need to migrate aliases with custom domain?
I was using burnermail.io with a custom domain name that I own. They don't have any obvious way to export my 300 aliases that use my custom domain. I flipped my MX record to SimpleLogin and setup my custom domain as well. I turned on catch-all for my domain. As new emails come in with an alias created in burnermail, Simplelogin is auto-creating them which is awesome. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Good email service providers?
Another recommendation for proton mail and burnermail.io for temporary sign up. Source: over 1 year ago
  • DuckDuckGo Email
If you are interested in the "unlimited unique private email addresses" functionality, also take a look at these other services: https://33mail.com/ https://anonaddy.com/ https://burnermail.io/ https://relay.firefox.com/ https://simplelogin.io/ These all support custom domains, except for Firefox Relay, which only supports a custom subdomain. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

They would need to provide a bring-your-own-domain feature as well as a rotating IP/proxy. Given they don't even provide the first, I doubt they provide the... Source: almost 2 years ago

  • How do you deal with people abusing your free trial?
Yep, better use a dynamic service. I build and run istempmail.com where we update the database with multiple domain names every day. So we kind of play whack-a-mole for our users :). Source: 10 months ago
  • How to verify email address before sending cold emails?
I run a email validation service called IsTempMail - it will take care of the issues in 3 and 4 for you. We have an API you can automate with and a bulk check tool for manual checks. Our free plan is good for 200 checks per month. Source: 11 months ago
  • Looking for feedback and recommendation on handling disposable email address ( DEA ) in web application.
Always happy to see more people dedicating time to DEA. I am working on the same problem with my service istempmail.com - an API for checking emails for DEA. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How do you identify disposable email address?
I build and run istempmail.com - an API to block disposable email. The blocked domains database is 150k domains and counting (we add new domains every day). There's a free plan for up to 200 calls a month. Source: about 1 year ago
